Primary colors mixing test with Mijello Gold Mission watercolor paints, yellow, rose and cerulean blue.
Sufficiently good choices for daily sketching.
But can't get standard warm blues, as ultramarine and cobalt blue, without the help of titanium white. A little harder to mix warm browns.
Need to add one warm blue into this little set, together with one warm red. Better also include a yellow ochre and a ready-made black in order to save time.

Put a tint of acrylic paint in titanium white onto this cheap watercolor paper to strengthen its surface and improve color rendering, while making the paper a little more water-resisting.
Mijello colors is more flamboyant on paper, while Schmincke Horadam is more subtle and exquisite.
